Many of my clients often ask me whether it’s necessary to use a professional hair stylist and makeup artist and I highly recommend it. It’s included with two of the session options because I feel it is important for the best results!

When you use a professional to help you with your hair and makeup, you’ll not only benefit from their skills and experience but their professional products too. Drugstore makeup only lasts so long we always achieve much better results when a professional is there to ensure that you look amazing from start to finish. My talented makeup artist will be using professional airbrush makeup, so you’ll look like a rock star! She will also know what works best for your face shape and complexion.

The added bonus is that is is so fun to be pampered and feel like an actual model. You’ll never regret it!

If you would still prefer to do your own makeup, we recommend that you apply a heavier layer in order for it to show in your portraits. Avoid any makeup that contains SPF and ANY shimmer, it may give shine to your skin. With that being said, you can opt for a translucent powder to help control the shine. Also remember to keep your mascara looking smooth and not clumpy, and only apply after we put on your false lashes at the studio.
